Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
This course deals with advanced data management issues, such as familiarizing students with fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning and their practical application in the Internet of Things. Among the objectives of the course are the acquisition of knowledge about machine learning and an overview of AI applications in the Internet of Things in areas such as commerce, autonomous vehicles and healthcare.
Topics are also presented on the methodology of problem formulation, literature search, organization, design, data analysis and extraction of conclusions/proposals, as well as on the methodology of writing a scientific paper, which will be an important guide for the thesis.
