Introduction to Databases, Big Data Management
The modern digital environment is characterized by the abundance of data that needs to be managed in order to be transformed into information and knowledge. In this course, an introduction to databases is provided, both on a theoretical and practical level, in order to familiarize students with the basic principles of creating a database. SQL, the database management language, is also introduced, and big data analysis, an important feature of the modern digital environment, is introduced.
